XSitePro Merges
Flawlessly
Together With Your WordPress Blog
Should I Use XSitePro or a Blog? If you
have been paying any attention, Blogs have been garnering mass
attention and for good reason. They are somewhat easy to
install and provided that you don’t have to make any changes to
the layout or functionality, you are up and running and fully
operational in a short span of time. As the popularity of Blogs
grew, certain Internet prophets prophesized the doom of HTML
and standard websites as we know them. But like every other
false prophet that preceded them, their prophecies didn’t and
won’t come to pass.
They prophesied the demise of HTML… didn’t happen and won’t
happen!
They prophesied the demise of Website Builders such as
XSitePro… didn’t happen and won’t happen!
Yes, it’s true that Blogs offer some tremendous benefits.
With the right theme, you can have an instant CMS Content
Management System. As long as you don’t need to change the
layout or functionality in any shape, form or fashion, you’re
pretty much set to go. There are other benefits such as having
your posts immediately indexed by the search engines.
Well guess what? Now you can bridge the power of XSitePro
together with the power of Blog and create a synergistic effect
that is incredibly awesome!
If you don’t know the power of XSitePro, you are behind the
eight ball indeed. XSitePro is the top
website builder software on the market. It affords
non-techies the ability to build professional looking websites
with all of the functionality of a website designed by a high
powered web designer.
How does one bridge the two together? I’ll share with you
the simple process, but first. Let me tell you HOW NOT TO DO
IT! There are people selling ebooks wiht instructions on how to
merge XSitePro together with your Blog. In their advertising,
they claim, it’s so simple anyone can do it! NOT TRUE! If you
don’t know coding, you are going to screw something up,
Guaranteed!!!
No matter what they claim, those instructions are not
written for newbies and the steps you have to take can’t be
handled by someone who DOS NOT KNOW CODING! I can’t make it any
clearer than that. The sad thing is upon purchase you
essentially agree to NO REFUNDS. That means you are stuck with
a worthless $49.00 ebook. So, how does one merge or integrate
XSitePro with their Blog? It’s so simple you may not believe
it!
Step one: add a Blog as a sub domain to your website through
your web hosting account. Let’s say your website is,
www.mywebsite.com. When you add the Blog, it will look like
this, www.mywebsite.com/blog.
Step two: once your blog is setup, go in your "Dashboard"
and add the same header from your main website to your
Blog.
Step three: if you're using any special background picture
or color on your main website, go ahead and adjust the
background your your Blog to look the same.
Step four: create a link from your Blog to your main
website. There are numerous ways you can accomplish this. You
can create a link in your "Blogroll." You can create a
link in your "Footer." The way that I do it, is create a
link in my "Blogroll" and also I add a picture at the top right
sidebar and link that picute to the main site.
Step five: in XSitePro click on the “Web Pages” tab and then
go to your home page and right click and go to: “Add a Page”
and then go to “External Link” and click there. It will look
like this…
When that “External Link” dialogue box pops up, put your newly
created Blog link and give it a title and click on “Create”

Once that link is created, you will be taken to another
dialog box that allows you to select the “Link URL” status and
input your sitemap information. For the “Link URL” status you
want to leave both boxes UNCHECKED! You DO NOT want to link to
open up in a new page and you want a “Do follow” tag from your
main site to your Blog. The dialogue box will look like
this…

Click "Save" and you're done! Now you have
just intertwined your website and your Blog and given your
website the same power as your Blog and vice-a-versa. If you'd
like to see this intermingling in action, you can click on
Convert XSitePro to WordPress. That link will
tak you to a specially created page on my BLog
for WealthGenerators.net. There's a link in that page that will
bring you righ back to this page.
What you will notice is this; all of the search engines
will view your website and Blog as, "ONE!" Meaning, they will
have the same PageRank, Alexa ranking, Compete ranking and
mozRank. Essentially what you have now is a "Blogsite!" If you
want yo supercharge your new dig, make sure that you grab Jeff
Johnson's Traffic Getting SEO Blog software. It's
currently free and once you install it on your blog, it will
become a traffic getting machine. We use it on all of
the Blogs that we install.
